Safety, Health, Environment, Quality and Training
Asme Welding Services considers Health and Safety it's top priority, both on our own premises and on-site at our customers. We are aware of and implement current legislative requirements and best practice across all of our business.
Asme is fully compliant with all relevant health and safety legislation and guidelines and has recently been audited by CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) and has become an accredited contractor.
We work to approved welding procedures such as ASME IX. Transco and the British Standard EN287 and EN288 specifications - and industrial pipework fabrications to ASME B31.1 and B31.3 - both in carbon and stainless steels.
All our staff are fully trained in health and safety issues and hold the appropriate ECITB safety passports. Confined space training and certification is also carried out for our technicians working within the pipeline trench boxes.
Where a project involves on-site work, Health and Safety risks are explicitly identified and planned around. Operations are planned in order to minimise risk and, where risk cannot be totally designed out of a project, all appropriate safeguards and precautions are taken.
With Asme Welding Services you can be confident that Health and Safety is covered and that the right protection is in place. Risks are identified, planned around and avoided, resulting in a safe and efficient working environment.
We have joined together with our partners at the 'West Burton Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Project' to produce the Health & Safety Charter where our common goal is ZERO HARM.
Read our Health & Safety Charter.
Full quality assurance and certification is provided on ALL our projects.
Our goal is to consistently produce a complete product that not only meets the industrial standards, but exceeds them and our customers expectations.
