Asme Pipeline Fabrication and Welding Business Profile

Asme Welding Services Limited is a welding business established in 1987 by Neville Keeling after working for many years as a welding contractor and welding supervisor serving both overseas and throughout the UK. Neville worked for companies such as Amec, Brown & Root and other leading oil-rig construction companies.

Later in 1987 Asme Welding Services took possession of a workshop and yard employing welding and fabrication staff. Most of the work at that time was in and around the ICI and petrochemical sites in Runcorn and the Widnes area - welding both carbon and stainless steel pipelines.

Within a few years the main activities had started to change, Asme were now working within the utilities sector welding cross-country pipelines for the various water authorities - over the coming years this type of work has become Asme's forte - Asme are a well-known, established and much respected sub-contractor specializing in the installation, maintenance, transmission and distribution of water pipelines throughout the UK - including the supply of senior pipeline management and personnel.

Other activities include orbital welding, mains sewerage and outfalls, rising mains and pumping stations, above ground installations and industrial pipe work fabrications to ASME B31.1 and B31.3 in carbon and stainless steel, in house or on-site services.

Asme work to approved welding procedures such as ASME IX. Transco and the British Standard EN287 & EN288 specifications, both in carbon and stainless steels and provide full quality assurance / certification on all projects.

Asme's welding experience ranges from industrial, pharmaceutical and off-shore drilling platforms to cross-country oil, gas and water pipelines.
